WEEK 19. SAN ANTONI IS COMING TO THE SCHOOL.

 SANT ANTONI. 

Saint Anthony, a Christian monk, was in his 20s when he heard God's call. The monk sold everything he had and gave it to the poor, and retired to live in a cave. The devil tempted him with several mortifying and sinful visions, but Saint Anthony resisted. Eventually, a gang of demons assaulted him at night and beat him up.

The next night, the demons returned to the cave, turned into weasels, to reopen his wounds. God threw an arm of light into the cave that frightened the devils, who never returned. The fend spread everywhere and his disciples multiplied.

That is the legend of Sant Antoni.
